A group of students from Years 3–6 entered the Screen It Competition 2012, a national film, animation and game-making competition for school-aged students. It is designed to encourage imagination and inventiveness in primary and secondary school students. The students were asked to create works responding to the theme ‘Belonging’.
Following a rigorous judging process by internal ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) staff and industry/education professionals, we are pleased to announce that two of our entries are finalists. ACMI received more than 400 entries.
Congratulations to Vivienne in Year 5 for her entry in the Primary — Live Action category, A Girl Called Alice.
Congratulations to all the students who participated in Screen It this year.
